i know one port goes to the actuator but where does the other one go?
Where does the other end of the pipe currently on the actuator go?
Clue:
The answer isnt 'My finger'
well current set up is like this boost conrtoler that has only 1 port, to a 3 way block 1 goes to actuator 1 to carb.
the new bleed valve came with 2 ports and a 3 way block.
so are you saying i ignore the 3 way and just route 1 to the actuator and 1 to the carb?
I'm guessing the block you're talking about is essentially what GT Tuning used to sell, a 'spyder valve' - allows the user to set a maximum and minimum.
To be honest, i'd bin it all and set the boost level via the actuator - your carb cant fuel for 2 different boost settings, so bleed valves are about as usefull as a chocolate teapot.
Hahaha as useful as a chocolate teapot never heard that one before but i like it!
cheers tim advice taken
The spider valve a friend of mine used would boost spike, needless to say we binned it. You're better of as mentioned setting the boost level via the actuator
i've put it back on wiv da dump valve
