some of you might know ive rebuilt my turbo 2.
its had a slightly uprated cam shaft, which has obviously reduced the engine vacuum whilst cranking and at idle. which unfortunately the metering head needs to suck its plate upwards!!
i'm running merc injectors, and ive advanced the dizzy timing from 10deg BTDC to 14deg and it runs alot better than it did at idle. - i took it for a drive and it didnt wanna pick up revs.- the AFR at the time was about 13.5 crusing and then decided to creep up near 14 when it was boosting....alittle lean methinks...
Ive been doin alot of reading on the net, but has anyone else got experience of Bosch K Jetronic? anyone used to be into Ford RS Turbos?
