I used to love playing that game. Have an RTOC bulldog game at national day
Dodge ball was another great game just to cause pain to others
Awesome game.
Was called 'British Bulldog' when I was a kid. Guess thats too racist now
you probably right!!! countrys becoming a joke... not a million miles from me in smethick near brum the council are trying stop the saint georges march because it may offend other religions in the area. ohh it makes me angry
goin off the point a little! BRITISH BULLDOG IS ACE
You damn right it's ace! But not as good and covert as Pom Pom Release
I preferred playing doctors and nurses.
Still got the nurses outfit somewhere...
I remember when my brother and I got a set of boxing gloves and head pads, we used to get a couple of friends down and punch the living crap out of each other on the communal field outside our house Ohhh, the nose bleeds we used to get... happy memories
Back in the day before I could drive me and my mates would spend most nights of the week at the local rollerskating rink, used to have a great laugh. They used to play bulldog on skates, two versions, one was you were out if the catcher touched you and the other was full contact, it got mess to say the least but great fun!
british bulldog brings back some very nice memories . we used to play that when i was a scout. i was always the last one to be got dunno why . think it was cos it took too many to take me down
then it became the union jack
even now there are many that do not realise that there is a correct way up for the union flag
ive found a new smiley
i remember it being British Bulldog, but also remember a chant "Red rover red rover send (insert name) right over" so surely it was also called red over to?
[quote=Blick;58694]ent played that since primary school...... got banned in the end! 2many kids gettin injured! PECKERS!!!!
ha ha ha they banned it at my school too, being inventive kids we just changed the name every day.
We also had casers banned (leather footballs) as they we constantly the reason for nose bleeds and crying girls! we had to play with sponge balls or floaters (type of lightweight ball that would blow away in the wind) RUBBISH!

good ole alf
Did anyone play walls of pain?
Two rows of people facing each other, and you had to take turns running through whilst getting a good kicking.
Many lunch times were spent playing that after they banned real footballs.
I think that might've been the point i grew out of football
its a dangerouse game TIDDERLYWINKS . one false miss guided flip and you can have someoes eye out
conkers . that been banded aswell
so why not chop down all the conker trees as they are of no use any more
chopper bikes even they have been made safe and are on a come back
when i was a lad my chopper bike had a gear leaver that went straight for your nuts if you braked to hard
ka nakers
those exploding balls that wrecked your wrists if you got it wrong
think skipping rope's are also baned from the playground
