I remember when my brother and I got a set of boxing gloves and head pads, we used to get a couple of friends down and punch the living crap out of each other on the communal field outside our house
Back in the day before I could drive me and my mates would spend most nights of the week at the local rollerskating rink, used to have a great laugh. They used to play bulldog on skates, two versions, one was you were out if the catcher touched you and the other was full contact, it got mess to say the least but great fun!

Two rows of people facing each other, and you had to take turns running through whilst getting a good kicking.
Many lunch times were spent playing that after they banned real footballs.
I think that might've been the point i grew out of football
