Lets go European?!

Following on from my thread about the WSR Nurburgring later in the year i've been having a trawl through t'internet for information on who runs the event & what the score is & it's got me thinking?!

You don't have to look very far on the web to find European clubs with the same (dare I say it) 'passion' as us lot

Deutscher Alpine Und Renault Clubs D'ARC German

Renault 5 Freunde German

GT Turbo.org French

5GT Turbo.nl Dutch

Has anyone ever tried getting in touch with all these clubs & inviting them to our events & maybe us attending some of theirs?! As all of you fellow 'Ringers will testify a weekend away in a foreign country with your car is a proper laugh!!

The french lads put us to shame last year coming to our day at Mallory Park! Do they do a track day at Magny-Cours?! None of us know??!

'tis a good call Steve. Especially as it is becoming more common for a couple of RTOC euro road trips each year.

The French boys sure did put on a good show at Mallory, very nice cars. I spoke with them about their national day and it tends to be a big meet rather than track based. I did say it'd be in touch but gotta admit i haven't as yet
Lomo and a few others have been over to the dutch ND in years gone by. I used to be a member on their site 2 years ago, but the forum was really quite, 1 or 2 posts a day so i lost interest, again it's something i need to pick up.

As for ze Germans, dunno much about them or their site, ill go take a look.
