    32DIS Carb Jets

    Ladies and Gents,

Can someone point me in the right direction for Carb Jets. I don't need mains as I have quite a few of them, but I do need the smaller Air Corrector type jets. I'd prefer 100 and 110 sizes, but happy to take anything (as long as the head is intact).

    Help appreciated.

    Woz

Would you be willing to sell me a few directly? I can PayPal funds.

like I said, size isn't hugely important as I can use solder and re-drill to get the size I need. I just want to have a few sizes to be able to swap out and test.

Awesome, loads better than soldering and re-drilling the jets.

That's on my next order with them. And any other items or quantity needed. As delivery is expensive unless bulk buying from them.

I don't need any but I would say for most applications a 0.9 and a 1mm would be the main sizes to go for.

    Re: 32DIS Carb Jets

For anyone looking on, the OE jet sizes are:

    1.2mm main jet.
    1.25mm air corrector.
    1mm 1st stage enrichment jet.
    1mm 2nd stage enrichment jet/bush.
    0.45mm idle jet.
    0.40mm accelerator pump jet.
    1.7mm needle valve.

Yeah, I think that would cover most applications, possibly a 1.1 mm size too. That said it's easier to drill to a bigger size than solder and redrill smaller. So unless others want a 1.1 too, the 0.9 and 1.0 mm should be fine.

remember that the AC jet is the same fitment as the first stage jet, but we don't tend to mess with that one too much.

we ran a 0.9 ac 1.3 2nd stage and 120 main afrs were great on cruise and good on boost using a full t25 tomcat and 15psi

    Re: 32DIS Carb Jets

Am I understanding it right that the main jet cannot be removed?
    Currently I have:
    1.3 main jet
    1.3 second stage
    0.7 first stage
1.0 or 0.9 AC jet (not sure)

    I've be advised to get
    1mm first stage
    0.9 AC jet
    Standard main

Does anyone know where I can get these please ?

I think it would be handy to provide 0.7, 08, 0.9 and 1mm.

    Re: 32DIS Carb Jets

    Laurie,

As per FB page this is what I would do in your situation before going down the malpassi route.

Change your 1st stage to 1mm, check that your AC is 0.9 and change your main back to 1.2m. Make sure you have a decent fuel pump and you should find your afrs are fine up to 20psi.

If you still need fuel up 2nd stage to 1.4 and then fit adjustable fpr.

    I think I have a couple of 1st stage/AC jets somewhere.

You can buy mains from RTOC shop now.

this is a good selection for those who are modifying the carb........ I got the exact selection made for me by Fordy. Not entirely sure if he is still making them but if he is then the club should take advantage of his skills

Agreed, Fordy sent be a batch too and very useful to drill yourself etc. Pretty certain he has none left now.

It will be stamped on it. If you look down the venturi, you'll see a number in millimetres.

It should say 25mm on it then. Worth checking it hasn't been bored out.

Group A venturis were 27mm and stamped as such.

Check these articles if you haven't already. They make for great reading:

    Re: 32DIS Carb Jets

You would only need to increase the fuel pressure to the float chamber if it's emptying. You'd have to be making a lot of power before that was happening. Unless maybe you are spending a lot of time over 100MPH on full boost, sort of thing?

How much boost are you using?
