    Bmw F10 M5

I went over to give this new, late registered M5 some much needed protection on referal from Auto Finesse This included the interior with leather and fabric protectant being applied.

    The car on arrival... wet.

It was a wet morning so i opted to do the interior while the weather cleared up.

Mats out, hoovered any loose fibers out before applying a fabric protector.

These were allowed to sit and settle while I completed the rest of the interior.

The cabin was hovered out, leather cleaned, plastics cleaned.
Some areas required a little extra attention.

All carpets were given 2 coats of fabric protector, while all leather surfaces received 2 coats of a leather guard.

The car then had a deep wheel clean,
    Washed, tar and fallout removed,
    Clayed,
    Rewashed and dried,
Wheels sealed with AF Mint Rims,
    Hand polished with AF Tripple,
    2 coast of AF spirit,
    Tyres dress, Exhausts polished,
    Glass cleaned and sealed.

    The finished shots.

And a glimpse of things to come...

    Thanks for reading

Possibly a little too much Gyeon (mixed feelings about them) for an AF referral

    E34? With old style plates?

Any good recommendations for Alcantera? Clio Trophy recaro's.

Are you not A fan of Gyeon? I'm a big fan of their products so far. Especially for the interior.

Yep, it is an E34. I don't know why it's on those plates. It perfect otherwise, bar the hand car wash ruined paint.

Are you after something to clean or protect the alcantera?

Tbh I thought I'd try a couple of there products as I saw you using them, thought their tar off was ok but the iron remover was rubbish.

An Alcantera cleaner and maybe something for the leather/ette.

Ah, yeah. It's not the greatest fallout remover. I'm a big fan of Wolf's Decon Gel.

This is my go to for Alcantera.

If it's real hide, an dedicated leather cleaner is best as it won't dry out the material and lead to premature wear and cracks.
Again, ide recommend Raceglaze for that too.

If you want something nice and easy to get hold of.
Autoglym Interior Shampoo for the Alcantera and their leather cleaner and conditioner can be picked up on the Halfords 3 for 2. All good products

It worked in the end, just needed about three hits.

The race glaze looks worth a go. Where the seatbelt goes over the shoulder of the seat it has flattened it, will this lift the nap with the help of a brush?

It should do as long as it's not really damaged.
Just go easy with it. If it doesn't lift straight away, give it a few light hits rather than one big scrub

Thankyou, it is just a very tiny patch but I will certainly take your advice.

Hey Scratcher, what happened to your website?

Also, in the future, would you be willing to come to Derby to work on my car? How far away are you, about an hour?

Cool. If and when the Mrs' dad gets his new car and we get his old one handed down to us, we could see what's possible.

Good to see the website back up.
