Why has my speedo stopped working?
It was working fine them just stopped.
I've tried a different set of clocks, it's not that.
Unplugged the joint and cleaned it up, still not working.
It feels like it's in the gearbox properly
What's next to check?

Re: Why has my speedo stopped working?
in my experience sack the joint and join the wires with a simple block conector.

Re: Why has my speedo stopped working?
Get the pick up out of the gearbox, held in by a small bolt/clamp near the exhaust downpipe. It might need a clean up .

Re: Why has my speedo stopped working?
Clean up or replace the connection near the air filter/suspension turret and clean up the connection at the back of the clocks. If it still doesn't work inspect/replace the sensor itself.

Yep will do that this weekend.
Can I test the connector at the dash end at all?

Re: Why has my speedo stopped working?
Guess only way to test the connector would be to use a continuity tester or test lamp to check the wiring from the engine bay connector through to the back of the speedo.
My speedo has been flakey for ages so i need to do the same at some point. It comes to life if i wiggle the wires in the engine bay, so i think i will just replace the wiring with some new stuff.

Re: Why has my speedo stopped working?
my advice is dont touch anything until you have changed the connector. If it still doesnt work then look elsewhere.
