The sites fine, just need something easier for those who give up there time to look after.
The above two comments
There are a couple of very minor additions that I'd like to see but on the whole I can't really fault the forum.
It doesn't feel outdated to me and some forums feel as though they were developed for children.
It must be stressed though that my opinion is very much that of the 'layman' i.e I don't really know anything about computers, servers, DNS codes etc etc
For me personally, it is a case of 'if it isn't broke, don't fix it'
But if it does, you're f*cked. Old, unsupported, insecure. The further out of date you go the harder it is to resume a current model.
The longer you leave it, the less resource you have to support. This, right here, right now is the perfect example of that.
As regards backups, anything you dont have backed up you may as well delete- if it's not important enough to back up, it's of no use, interest or value.
Back it up or delete it to make room for something of use, or a cost/space saving.
I think it shows the current, wider membership base have a general apathy towards how this website operates. As we have seen in the past however, there will be a lot more voicing opinion when the service they are paying for falls over and takes weeks to get back online.
That said, just because the existing members appear uninterested in what nice tweaks might be made to the site, it doesn't mean these updates shouldn't be done, as they will help keep the club relevant and potentially interesting to new members.
