Looks mean
It's good to see some people modifying the dci. After I've got my head round what I'm doing with my gt turbos, I'll look at doing a bit to my dci.
Have you had any issues with your bleed valve? Everyone on the dci forum says you can't wind the boost up at all on the or they go into limp mode.
My mate runs GAD Tuning so he did me a one off, no idea of bhp as it wasn't done on rollers just the road, he upped fuelling and lots of limiters, and removed gay things like the egr valve from the ecu ;-)
do you know how big the original eeprom file was on the 1.5dci? - i have some tuning files i got off the net....
Afaik it should be 256kb, would you care to share them with me?
I'm reading up on ecuconnections how to tune the delphi ddcr ecu myself.
i bought a clone MPPS off ebay. It works on BKD engine VW's....
i also downloaded all the files from here:
http://www.enginetuning.eu/category/tuning-files/
took about a week, but i now have them. - not exactly in good order.
i also joined digital-kaos forum, which appears to be very good....- i'm still going through all the forums! - some very clever people on there. - i need to get a copy Winols or another map reader/writer..... problem is that i'll also need a checksum checker too.....
I'm in the same boat mate! Clone mpps v13.02 is on it's way.
Should be able to read/write the delphi ddcr ecu.
There are a few guys on ecuconnections who already made mappacks for the ddcr which makes things alot easier!
I've found that website before but haven't really paid attention to it.
Think i'll get the laptop out!
how did you download them, no matter what i select i always have to pay

on the rapidgator site, there is quick or slow downloads.
click on the slow download and wait for the timer to count down. - then click on the link. - a security screen appears and you type in what you see in the box below. - you can then press download and save to your computer.
it says one download per 120mins... which is alittle lie. - i managed 2 -3 per day maximum. - so i started downloading them from work too so the IP was dfferent....
i'll have a look at ecuconnections.....
you have a look at digital-kaos ( garage section) - similar stuff there too.
Sounds great mate! Don't you happen to have a server or the likes where you can share them with me?
Or could you email the renault specific ones?
I won't need any other atm anyway.

Cheers!
the whole lot comes to 4.3GB or summat like that.
ill have to see what i can do.
i could transfer them directly to your computer if you want? - would involve logmein though.....

looks for files 15dci.jpg , 15dci2.jpg, 15dci3.jpg
save as *.bin file
Thnx mate! The dci files will do for now as they are the only ones i'm interested in atm.
Do you have a mappack aswell?
have you ever looked at the files?
i opened them and imported a clio dci mappack but it shows crap.
or do you have a map pack that goes with them?
to be honest i've only just finished downloading and noticed the renault stuff. there is alot of other 'random' files that may have something to do with it? i havent even got a map reader yet.
Are you a bit clued up on this stuff?
I have the free version of winols atm but have to find me a cracked full version!
to be honest mate - i have a feeling were ae both in exactly the same boat.
i know that the free version of winols doesnt have the checksum part of it.
have a read of this too...

Interesting read mate! Also was told by someone how simple dieseltuning can be.
Mostly the maps are written for many more than the smoke and tq limiters.
So basically a part of it does work. Making the limits higher does deliver more power!
