    A happy ND thread

Rather than the annual toil of moaning.

What where everybody's best memory's of this years event?

Would be good to have a long thread of people's best moments so it would help with future plans too.

My best bit was.... (Worst) the fact I missed it knowing it was beautiful weather with renault turbos wizzing round and missing the old faces

The whole day for me really even though I didn't bring my 5 it was a nice break from my woes at home at the min.. No bull**** no attitudes this year great sunny day with like minded guys and mike was there too helping us all out in true club spirit.. New and old faces seemed a lot more smiles this year. Greatday iv learnt alot in a year about the rtoc and these cars and these days enjoy them as much as you can while you can.. One thing though it was missing a mr whippy

    Re: A happy ND thread

My best part was my drunken friday night walk seeing people I've know for years now and new members I met for the first time.

Roy with yet another scoff tuned efi c1j was great to chat. Get that lump a good cam.

Me and markey mark snooping around what we thought was a rear engine GTT Turbo only to spot two in car boost controls and then seeing it was actually twin engine. Such a clean car and a friendly owner who had spent six years building it and only joining the club the day or so before nat day. welcome to the club

Singing happy birthday to Fred in our very pissed state and his birthday cake with its solitary candle.

Also me and my misses borrowing someone's fire to roast marshmallows only to find it was Brizzas. A member who id seen on the site for many many years but never meet before.

Theres plenty more good things over the weekend roll on next year.

Got to love the friendly vibe and excellent cars at RTOC events. Well done to everyone that turned up and the members that took time out of there busy lifes to organise the weekend.

This is what made National day / retro show for me...

3 rows of Renault turbos at the pod!

Despite always owning 5's and being a member many years ago, I missed the hey day of RTOC when that would be a common sight

Wow great pics, best bits about ND was catching up with some old faces and also
meeting some new members, really good positive vibe about this years event and the usual level of dodgy banter & antics lol also on a plus note the raider and 11 turbo didnt miss a beat on the near 400 mile round trip, just wish I went to retro cars at pod, next year for sure!

The great response to the Fuego.

It's a marmite car, IMO, but got loads of good feedback on it which makes the effort worthwhile.
