Never had a reply from the guy on Ebay, I think we're going to have to find somewhere else to get a set of white decals from to copy...
Let me tell you where I am, I'm in For a tungsten

From Dales thread:https://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthrea...+decals&page=3
Is that grey backing graduated from top to bottom?
Are all the OE decals on a plain grey background and this photo of this graduated one is an after market custom design?
The two eBay decals from the previous page, one appears to be red writing and states it for a black car. The backing on that appears to be grey. The other appears to have white writing on a grey back ground.
Another graduated grey, but this one dark grey to red. Is this the original look?
Would like some for the Phase 1. Is this possible?
Are the phase one different then? Do you have a photo please?
Thank's Mike
I think next we have to ascertain that the printers Haz is dealing with can actually do it.
Haz was / is looking for somewhere to scan the full length of the door decal, then we'll need a decal and get perhaps just the rear scanned and have them print it and then we'll know
Here's a pic of a red one showing white text and graduated grey. Is that original then?

thought they were different styles for ph1 and ph2.
the printer tells me they are able to print anything, i'm not sure of how detailed the printer can go but the ford series 1 side decals were faultless.
afaik the only problem would be what quality may be lost during the scanning process hence needing to find a company that can scan the length of the door decal, and with adequate dpi to keep the image crisp, and then convert to pdf format.
i did call a few places but i have found a few more since, just yet to call to see what they can do. trying locally to start with so i can oversee all processes to make sure the originals arent ruined or lost.
i feel some of the copies in the past have been ok, just not good enough for the oe enthusiast so want to get these spot on. it may take some time as cant devote full time to it, but i am on with it
Does this pic help
I've spoke to a friend who's in the printing game and says these have to be screen printed and not digital as they will only last a year before they fade.
Any news on these
Decal threads are becoming exhausting to read !
I'm almost tempted to slap at credit card at Renault and buy some genuine ones
I'm a printer and when I get my decals from Renault I'm going to take em into work and see what they suggest
