Clio 172 turbo stuttering
Hello all.
My first venture into this part of the world.
I have a 172 turbo , all seems fine until I hit around 4-4500rpm and it misses. Then the car is fine after those revs ( and before )
Coilpack has been changed , there are no obvious signs of an air leak , and plugs were recently changed by the last owner.
Any ideas ?

are you running turbo plugs or normally aspirated plugs?

Check their gaps, if it's more than 0.7mm drop them down to 0.6mm and try again.

Yup sounds like it's blowing the spark out.....get some platinum tipped ones, I drop modded 21's down to .55 ut as Scoff said .60 should do you.
And use feeler blades to set them, not a hammer or a pair of mole grips

Re: Clio 172 turbo stuttering
Still not got to the bottom of this misfire. It went for its pre mot check today and it's super really mega rich.
The lad that had it before had it running at 22psi ( yep you read that right ) on standard pistons ( afaik )
It'd now back @ 9 psi.
I have receipts for a ktec ecu but no remap. Is something adding in extra fuel somehow ? Air leak? Sensor fuzzed? Dodgy fpr?
