The red evo??? That was very fast!
Red one was quick, marts was the blue one i think.
Oh yeah I remember seeing it now looked nice, can't remember it going past like the red and silver one though!!
I didnt see him out alot in it, the red evo i think was out more than me.
I think I remember your red 5 on the track, went well, pulled well if it's the one I remember
I was out alot, only 10psi tho but it still went quite well at that
what can i say. Superb weekend with great company and great cars...The cup car was faultless so cant complain really
Just heading out
That's the one I remember following it now, pulled well
The blue 5?? That looked like it was on rails around the corners!! Awesome. Kept waving people past though wanted to have a little play
That's the one. Some nice trick bits on the car too - Al's got a car (and mod's) to be proud of
Very nice car, quick around the track
Wish i'd seen alastairs everyones commented on how well it handled.
Was hard trying to get out and have a play with the quick stuff, they always came in just as you get out! That's if could even catch up!
yeah, i kept slowing down to let people catch up then tried to follow them as best i could
Ha, same and then they would pull in
lol yeah, was great following jaffa in his m3 tho some interesting lines he took on the high speed chicane before the last corner
Also jesus's coupe turned in pretty well
What a cracking event as normal. Well done Steve, Dawn and all that made this event run so well and smoothly. roll on next year.
Well done to all the French and Dutch that came. Wow your cars are so clean, straight and very well engineered.
Tidy tent for night life till 5am
Well done on the free rolling road.
Also a big thanks everyone that turned up and brought such a great atmosphier to this event.
Had a REALLY great weekend!
Track was a lot better than Mallory imo and also great venue. Think it is a step forward in terms of ND format and the issues / concerns raised around show and shine stuff is easy to resolve tbh.
I think its a great bench mark to further tweak and improve for next year. For a small club it really was a great event, well done to all involved
Caught up with most of the gang and spoke to a few new members, sun, cold beers, BBQ and track driving.......life is good
DG
I had a fantastic weekend, starting with the convoy on Friday and a great day Saturday
ND was superb, great turn out, so many cars and everyone was so helpful and friendly.
Huge thanks to the organisers, great job all
Great day too, even tho I only managed 9 laps due to a caliper seal blowing out .
However I had chance to take my friends Celica GT4 out for a few laps then went home and fetched my Subaru Legacy GT-B, I think I win "biggest barge" on track for that one !!! Problem is I now need 4 tyres and front break pads!!!
Massive thanks from me
Thanks Mart, shame I didn’t get a lot of track time – I’ve been meaning to sort that drive shaft out for a while now, shame it went at the weekend.
I hope the people who got a few laps in the passenger seat in between the bodging to get back out enjoyed themselves! Brigsy’s better half was a scream… I was hanging the tail out round the little chicane for a laugh, and then once the tyres were warm we got on it, at that point (4 wheel drifting changing into 5th round the long wiggles after bouncing the limiter in 4th) she said, “I am smiling now – you can go faster if you like!” Mate – she is a mentalist !!! Sorry to those that I couldn’t take out due to defects…!

1. So most importantly: a massive thank you to Steve, Dawno and the team for a great weekend, a credit to the club – BRAVO ZULU.
2. I think the venue was excellent and good VFM. The track was a lot more technical than the bland oval at Mallory, but friendly enough for beginners and plenty of passing places. Personally I think the track was perfect for our FWD cars. Perhaps if they painted a few curbs red and white it would make people feel more of a sense of occasion… Just one thing – can we have something in the South West, 11 hours to get there was an EPIC!
3. The atmosphere was great, one of the best RTOC events I have been to in years. Nice to put faces to names, meet lots of new people and to see some truly stunning cars and some big BHP turn up too!
4. R/R for free is another great addition. (Shame they wouldn’t run mine though, I wasn’t changing the set up for a quick power run)…
5. The competition area: I like the idea of all being able to vote, perhaps a flag/sign or ‘red tape’ area to mark out the cars being judged and set them apart would be good. I don’t think sour grapes afterwards is at all conducive to a low level club event judged by ‘volunteers’ who were doing their best in a limited time window.
6. A massive thank you to the flying tent recovery party… just gutted I lost my loaf ! Not sure how it happened it was very well secured. I owe you all a beer!
7. PS, loving Dale’s party bus you guys were cracking me up!
Owwwwahhhhh !!
I just wake up after a AWESOME week end !!!!!
I came back home yesterday at 12h PM
Done more than 2000 kms, few little problems on the car but nothing can't be fixed on the road, meet a lot af fantastic pepole, see stunning cars, a perfect organisation !!!!
a HUGE thanks to all the organisators, and all the pepoles i meet (Ricardo, Dave, Steeve, D4WNO, Marts, and more !!! )

One more time : THANK YOUUUUUUUU !!!!
You & the rest of the Frenchies (and special mention to the Dutch Jesus #2) are most welcome!!
Steve
Bruno, great to catch up with you guys again, and thanks to you, Romain, and Pascal for the English/French translation Not forgetting Jasper there as well.
Hope you can sort out a trackday at Abbeville, but if not, we'll definitely be at the Florenville event next June anyway
Hiw did the Jesus lookalike get on with his waterpump? Did he get home ok??
I hope he got back ok. I took the waterpump off my cup car and gave it to him to get back, hope it went ok
I swear at one point I looked around and just about every car in the pits was jacked up or had someone head scratching whilst looking over the engine bay!!!
I had to chuckle .........Stereotype or what!!
Not sure if he made it or not.. He came over to me on the Sunday as we was leaving, he was having alternator charging problems.. A quick look under the bonnet revealed the connector of death was corroded, so I just pulled it apart and back together a few times and it done the trick..
Was well cool of you Kris M to sort out the water pump
Yes, him and i have changed his pump, no problems apears after, no temperature problems, the fan starts well, no oil in water, no pressure problem in the cooling tank...
Normaly no head gasket !
Absolutely awesome weekend away people

I've never ever seen that much GTT in one place.
That track looked good, but I haven't driven on it.
It was great to meet some of you personally.
We could talk some words with the french guys also. Thanks for the help in the translation. I have to improve my french.
