electric windows rocking
ok just putting my r5 back together after paint, however the electric windows struggle to go up, there seems to be huge amounts of play in the section tht goes up on the slider and as such the window rocks which causes it to snag. very difficult to explain , i may take a video.

Re: electric windows rocking
the actual glass is tight and secure in the mechanism ?
the two hex/torx bolts that you get access to via the holes in the door?

Re: electric windows rocking
Grease up the runners and mech well with silicone grease. What condition are your inner and outer window surrounds in? Mine were ever so slightly kinked in places from removal and this was causing a major slow down when using the windows. Fitted brand new ones and the windows operate at the speed of any modern day car now

Re: electric windows rocking
I've found that the nylon runner that runs up channel can wear badly and eventually start to get stuck. Greasing may cure problem for know but i just fit a newer one from scrappy with less play.
