Let me know which one you want to do, and I'll try to hook up there as well. I'm favouring Blyton to be honest, but that's simply from not having to take a day off work point of view (Oulton's trackday is on a Friday).

I'm on the sniff for another one, almost had a ph1 172 for peanuts but got beat to it
ive still got mine , get the cash oot ,1 owner trophy ,full service ,low mileage ,novelty plate only been on track once the first year i got it . Been used mainly by my Mrs and our baby .For the last year we have used it as a family car . Dont really want to sell as we have got by with the limited space and for the money i would get for it you couldnt buy a better car imo .
Mud, PM me with a price you've got in mind. Fancy an Evo?
Trouble is once you've been out in it no other Clio will feel the same unless its turbo'd[/quote]
megane r26 for sure mart....come on...
Missus used to love her old 172 Trophy looker back along....
Few cars later ended up going back to another but a Liquid Yellow 182 this time
So WANT LY!!
That Clio is a beauty
I agree! Once a booster, always will be!Originally Posted by jesus in the seat of a 5;

Agree with Ricky, Clio's (and Megane's) in that LY colour are the don. Problem is, I'm trying to step away from the 'look at me' type cars!
Steve, whichever motor I end up with, it will (eventually) be blown.
Echo........................ Echo....................
i am looking for a 182 as a daily. is it worth getting a cup? i prefer the interior on the standard 182 as the cup has standard looking seats.
what are the other differences between a standard 182 and a cup?
Is it "the evo is up for sale" time of the month again
It's the cold air getting to my head again
I just still want to tick the box, that's the problem
There's a nice Trophy for sale at a local garage, and spotted a LY182 for sale on AT.
Just let the thread die - I'll no doubt bump it again at the end of Summer
Here we go round the mulberry bush.....
Although if I had some spare pennies, and room, I'd have snapped up the black 172 that I spotted the other day near me: one owner, £750
Ive seen a few going for next to nowt in good nick. Nowt flash speed wise standard thou, i shown a supposidly 'cammed' 172 up in my van the other night
Sure, it'll probably feel slow as feck compared to the Jap taxi (*), but I miss the lightweight, fwd, hoon-ability of RenaultSport cars.
* Nothing a SC/blower can't sort there though.
We went to look at 3 clios today, a 182 which for a 2004 model was a dog. A track clio 172 with crunchy 3-4th gear. A really clean silver phase 1 Clio 172 which i could have bought for a bag of sand.
I said no to them (although the phs1 is good) so the search continues
In between pics had about 1/4 mile on the 172, and well off the clock
