The 2WD Sierra Cosworth FMIC fits behind a standard bumper with a minimal shave. The 4WD does NOT however without modification.

Both require pipe runs making up.

For the filter you can just cut the telephone hose in half turn it 180 and join it it will leave the filter where the standard intercooler was

    Re: Front mounts and filters

mine is quite a big fmic, but i removed the crossmember so it all sits behind the OE bumper and grille, air filter is a massive blitz stainless one that fits on my head.. overkill maybe but looks perdy, also fits behind grill in place of OE intercooler

    Re: Front mounts and filters

i made a front mount ages back, cost more than it was worth and looked sh1t.. elbow cost mount up, then theres the pipe, then you have to remember you have stacks on joins that could leak boost..

i was told to reduce as many joins and potential leaks, so i f_cked it off and picked up a different set up.. i plan on replacing some of the pipe run as there are still more joins than i want..

theres some nice set ups that people have done, pick the best ideas, bin the rest...

I use universal items always, the universal intercoolers on ebay work very well and come in various sizes.
Also i use some of the universal K&N filters too, measured some up for my 5's in past and my current red 5 too
