    Renault 4

    OMG nearly bought a R4 yesterday, looked soooo retro cool, i have been thinking about another project... R4, 200bhp bike engine, RWD... standard looking.... skinny tyres ???

    What do people think?

    Depends how much you are gonna pay for it. They suffer from chassis rot badly. A good one isn't worth butchering- I'd be fitting an alpine/gordini turbo lump. Or even a gtt lump with a few mods.

    I know what your saying But the next project will be RWD... Perhaps a Gtt lump fitted logditudinay, v cheap power..? Any half decent gearboxes that are light and might fit, or go type 9??? With a bike engine you can use the box!

    Yeah, similar but they used clio v6 running gear and massive wide arches, standard looks

    came back from portugal a few weeks ago now and there are loads of renault 4's overthere!!,lots of mint campus to,didnt spot a gtt but did spot a renault 11 turbo 4-door!

    volvo 340/360 with gtt running gear then.
