    well......

    Renault did, during the development of the R5t, put a V6 in the back, but ditched it as it was too heavy! but that car is a bit of a dog bless it!

    Seems a little daft to me, the buick/rover V8 never made more than 190 hp and weighs a **** load more than the stock motor, agree with Mark the paint job is pony

    i agree, big v8 and only 220bhp probably quicker as a turbo 1

    but would be good to say you have a 3.5l v8 renault 5 tho! and it does sound nice!

    I think it's a shame have no turbo lump in there, but there was V8 turbo SDi back in the day and the real hard work is already done.

    Can't see the video at work but I know for a 1.8 16v turbo 2 that is going to be at least 300bhp depending on boost etc with a lighter engine and more power than the big V8 it should be pretty quick.
