had a crack at polishing allloys

bought a bit of gear to just see how hard it is to polish wheels.

Conclusion, its not exactly difficult, but i wouldnt be a 5 min job, the section on here took me about 10 mins, although it would be easier on the floor with no tyre. I think purely doing lips would be simple enough though.

I used a kit from this site to polish up a set of wheels for my old Triumph Dolly. http://www.thepolishingshop.co.uk/ac...hing_Kits.html
    Worked a treat

Cool, so is all you need then just a normal drill to affix the wheels to?

And does this kit require you to remove the paint first?

I have Nitromors and a drill at home and I'm wondering if to buy a set of scabby wheels to mess around with, lol.

that thread above shows all, as for the pars/materials they fit in most angle grinders/polishing mops.

if you speak to rich at tw wholesale (member on here dickiigtt), tell him the polishing gear that dj on rtoc used he can get the gear in.
