    RTOC lowering challenge

If Morg's car makes it to ND (head is currently off and is going back on tonight) can we have some help from some keen RTOC'ers to lower it on the lunch time break?

It was our challenge for this week, but with the head gasket issue our time is going to be spent fixing that.

Do i have any takers..........i've never done it before so could do with some pointers!

    Re: RTOC lowering challenge

I would say it would be worth removing the torsion bar end caps and spraying WD40 or penetrating oil into the ends and also into the centre bar joints aswell to aid removal.

Also bring a large sledge hammer in case the bars are stuck tight and plenty of bolts that fit the torsion bar threads under the caps (old gearbox long bolts are good)

I can just picture Spooky taking over and saying that not how you lower a 5 this is how you do it after he has slammed it

I'll bring my slide hammer if you want, have that lowered in no time!
