    Motorsport at the Palace.

If you don't have any plans for this weekend, get to crystal palace.
Sevenoaks and district motor club are running another sprint on Sunday and Monday.
Tickets are £10 (under 16's are free).
    Google 'motorsportatthepalace 2011'
I'll pop a link up today.
The only race day where you can see cars from the 1900's to present day.
    Loads of other attractions too.....
I'll be there, supporting one of the 'code red cars'
    Come and say hello!!

Which day are you going Matt, both?

I saw the MG ZR run.
Which mk2 escort were you involved with?
There seemed to be a good few there, some running very good times.

    Re: Motorsport at the Palace.

Roger burgess in the White mk2, took class win
Terry in the ZR (red and yellow) normally does tintop racing which have tolling starts, so incredibly long 1st gear.....slow off the line but could do the whole course in 2nd.
My mate steve thompson was in a civic type r, another couple of friends julian pring and James kelly in the blue Clio 200's and Andy webber in the lotus élan +2 all did well.

I was going to do rhis event, but coincided with my other half being away, so had to pull out.
I would have been in the oldest car (1924) on the Sunday and the blue Clio the Monday.....
Going to persuade the two code red R5's to do it if it runs next year, as I need a bit of competition..... Hehehehe!

    Matt
