cant remember exactly, mine was done at was 101db so i got a fine!

i think its 100mm from floor, at a 45deg angle, and a meter from the tip iirc

measured 3 readings at 3/4 engines maximum rpm

anything over 83db means its modified, over 87 is a fine

whatever the police do its not enforceable, exhaust manufacturers test there products in an area the size of a football pitch,at various rpm's,and various distances and also at different times of the day.

so whatever piece of test equipment there using its unfair and a load of tosh.

so what about a tvr tuscan etc.....???

I think so, a couple of biker mates of mine got pulled on Sunday and where fined £60.00 each for her majesties pleasure.
