i still think gt tuning gears some of the best thats ever seen a renault 5 when it comes to aftermarket gear.. well built, well styled that worked with the original parts and styling, not against it like kombat kits etc..

prices were

but still even now alot of it can't be bettered, only copied..

I remember a good few year ago there was always a picture of this red gtturbo on the rtoc sighn in page. It was really low and had the big rtoc sticker on the rear window

Does anyone know if this is stil on the road, don't have any pics on my phone but il upload wen I'm on my computer

I think the black Cosworth 5 was built by DJM Motorsport if that's of any interest to anyone, they're only down the road from me. Looks like they work on some high end projects now.

not sure if its a famous 5 or not, remember hearing that it had a cover slot on a mag and that it was used in insurance adverts as well i was told? PCS built car, now sat gathering dust for the last 2-3 years ive known it to sit still but still seems to be in good nick.

should make an appearance next year on the roads if all goes well.

also know that this car used to be mega quick, dissapeared for a couple years and then i helped get it back on the road, it was in very good nick about 5-6 months ago when i last saw it, cracking car

how it used to look before it came off the road

how it looks now, kicks round falkirk area (mudslinger thats the one that people thought was your one when u put that post up mate)

Yeh I remember this one, it was always in the back of maxpower etc advertising modified car insurance

I see that on ebay, it looks like another shell that has been modified for rear/twin engine set up but thats all nothing else been done to it. Bare shell aswell.

The price though is taking piss abit! £2000!!!

One I remember from back in the day was an E plate Electric Blue Ph2 with White multispoke alloys, was at the 3 sisters track day I went to in my 1st 21T (that I broke on the day!!) and was also at one of Moggys RR days in Wrexham. Seem to remember it having NOS and quite a bit of power!!!

Sparkie should remember him coz I'm sure this Blue car just pipped his to the post for the highest BHP (awaiting to be shot doen in flames!!)

Think it belonged to a lad called Lee?? Short guy with a goatie, may have been from Liverpool??

Hopefully it will be back on the road for the early summer, sticking with the Europarts theme, hence the no colour change & C1J with the EP carb/injector set-up, more then likely a Adaptronic ecu for the ignition & to control the single injector?
Last but not least it will stay with the black & Orange seats

, It just needs collecting from Dave’s as soon as the snow clears

my dad owned this car for years he paid £7000 many years ago ,we did take it to a max power show in doncaster were it was parked next to a blue wide arched one,he never took it out in the rain always garaged,he was really anal with it used to take the bolts out the splits and polish them every week lol sure it was on ebay for bits not long ago..

Real shame but think this car is gone now

Was on ebay little while ago but in right state, interior missing, no engine and kit crack.
I enquired about it to put it back to former glory but owner wanted way too much money so think it got broken for spares and shell gone.

it is a shame i loved that car,he sold the car in about year 2000 the year i started secondary school he let it go for £2500 with no mot as he needed the money,he always says to this day you never realise how good your car looks until someone drives it away lol
