    peugeot 205 gti 6/mi 16

after having 18 renault 5 gt turbos ive been saving up for a new car and have been thinking about going for a peugeot 205 gti with a gti 6 engine conversion or mi 16 conversion
i love the 5s but its time for a change does any 1 have any experience with ither conversion any ideas what they handle like ive had many 205 gtis in the past and they stick to the road like glue?

me and djinuk are in possession of the 205 gti6 and we both havent driven them yet. we have both carried out the conversion ourselves and on paper they should be pretty handy, i should be on the road when i get an exhaust in the next couple of weeks

ive driven a 205 mi16 on twin carbs before, sounds lovely and is as quick as a 5 gtt running around a bar boost, but in my opinion i think the 205 handles better than the 5, they seem to be better built than the 5 too

    vids of mine

engine sits on the original mounts, need exhaust manifold reangled, unlocked ecu, modifed engine loom

go for it and try it out.. 1 thing thats great about 205's is that compared to an r5 rust is not a problem..

my 205 is a bit tatty but during the conversion the parts that were perished or perishing have been changed

i loved my old 1.9, the only thing it needed was more power
