    BIG jubilee clip....be careful and don't wind it up too much, you can crush the core.
    It also gave me something to cable tie my spray bar onto....

    I used some Jubilee strip stuff that a ducting guy had at work. I also used a 10mm bolt to keep the thermo flap open.

    There's a thermostaticly controlled flap in the top of the intercooler so that the air only passes through the core at certain temperatures.
    You can open the cooler up and do some chopping and stick the flap so that its always open.
    Or do the easy way, remove the thermostat and put a 10mm bolt in and it'll keep the flap open. I guess the air wouldn't flow as well this way as the gubbings will be a slight restriction, but it shouldn't be an issue if you're not running high boost and big power hunting

    renault strapped the one on my 5 for the original owner it was a small ratchet strap thing pulled nice and tight, but there was no ratchet part...




    so it was just a strap
