Was just speaking to one of the branches I work for in Basildon, Essex and they have a customer who does race cars and got a Pink Renault 5 in waiting to get a head gasket changed on it. Anyones on here or know anything about it. I told the branch about the Corteco head gasket which we can get hold of from one of our suppliers.

My new one is pink, and at my mates garage over in basildon, having a very trick custom rear beam and sump gasket done on it though... No doubt some mixup in communication somewhere.... After all I'm not that lazy about picking up spanners

Hmm maybe but for that engine a cortico gasket would be slumming it a bit...not saying any more ;)

Nope fraid not... Although purely as a technical exercise that's not the first place we'd would look to upgrade the standard rear beam for track work, sure you've had a few thoughts on the subject tony...;)
