Fund Raiser

I thought I'd pop this up on here :)

I'm going to be doing a sponsored bike ride to raise some money for Cancer Research UK.
It's been something that's popped its head up more than once for me. My mum and 2 of my friends have been diagnosed and treated within the last few years. I only recently learned that Cancer Research are only funded by donations so I wanted to do something to help them out and continue to save lives.

So what am I doing?...

110 miles on a bike.

It might seem easy enough to some. People do it as a leisurely ride, but my route is a little different.
From where I live near Milton Keynes - to the River Thames - and back - along The Grand Union Canal.
It's mostly bumpy, rocky tow paths, fields, woods and a bit of pathways.

The journey is 55 miles each way.
